His family will livestream tonight's memorial service for the 13-year-old YouTube star who died suddenly last week.

Amid questions about how seemingly healthy 13-year-old YouTube star Caleb Logan Bratayley could have died suddenly last week, the Bratayleys said Monday night that tests revealed their son died from "an undetected medical condition."

Caleb, whose real name police said was Caleb LeBlanc, died on Thursday night, the family announced on its official Instagram page, saying his death was simply due to "natural causes."

The Bratayley family is popular on YouTube for its home videos, with its page amassing more than a billion views. The family is among Maker Studios' creators, with the Disney-owned digital media company also mourning Caleb.

On Monday, the Associated Press reported that Caleb died after suffering an "unknown medical emergency," according to the police in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. The police added that "there are no suspicious circumstances" and there is no criminal investigation underway, adding that a medical examiner would determine the cause of death.

In an Instagram post on Monday night stating that tests showed Caleb died from an "undetected medical condition," the Bratayley family revealed that it would livestream a memorial service for Caleb, set to take place at 8 p.m. ET tonight. The funeral can be streamed on Periscope (@bratayley) and Facebook (

The family added of Caleb's death, "We'll have more definitive answers in the coming weeks but ask that you help us celebrate his life instead of focus on his death."
