It's been a rough first week for Megyn Kelly and her new NBC morning show, Megyn Kelly Today

During an interview Thursday with soccer player and Olympic gold medalist Carli Lloyd, a cameraman accidentally stepped into frame while Lloyd was speaking.

Lloyd began to answer Kelly's question about how her life has changed since scoring the game-winning goal at the World Cup in 2015 by saying, “It’s been a whirlwind, you know? But I think what’s been most fascinating is—” before getting obscured by the crewmember.

The cameraman quickly noticed his mistake, but not before audibly muttering "Shit!" before exiting the shot.

The on-air snafu comes after a few other encounters this week for Kelly. Actress Debra Messing said she regretted appearing on Kelly's morning show on Tuesday after Kelly made an uncomfortable comment towards a gay Will & Grace superfan during the segment. "I don't know about the lawyer thing, but the Will & Grace thing and the gay thing is going to work out," Kelly said, which drew some laughs from the audience but not from Messing, who could be clearly seen on-camera not smiling.

Then, on Wednesday, Jane Fonda, who was making an appearance to promote her new film Our Souls at Night, did not entertain Kelly's questions about her plastic surgery. "You look amazing. Why did you say, I read that you said, you're not proud to admit you had work done. Why not?" Kelly asked, to which Fonda replied, "We really want to talk about that right now?"

Friday's edition of Megyn Kelly Today is set to include Saturday Night Live castmembers, including Kate McKinnon, Cecily Strong and Leslie Jones ahead of the late-night sketch show's return.
