Thanks to makeup artist Patrick de Fontbrune, Matthew McConaughey's other half looked like the First Lady of the Oscars. Here, he tells us how he did it.

“Classic and classy” was the inspiration behind Camila Alves’ Oscars-night makeup look, courtesy of celebrity artist Patrick de Fontbrune. Alves’ skin was primed first using vbeaute Undercover Agent Anti-Wrinkle Protecting Serum ($45) and followed by the brand's Eye Never Anti-Aging Eye Cream ($43). Fontbrune used a tinted moisturizer to create “a nice, bronzy face, because Camila has such beautiful skin,” he told Pret-a-Reporter. Next, Fontbrune dusted Votre Vus Belle Poudre in medium ($29) across Alves’ T-zone and eyelids, to set her makeup -- a look that Fontbrune conceived after viewing sketches of Alves’ Gabriela Cadena blush-colored silk crepe gown weeks earlier.

“We decided to go with a classic Hollywood style, and keep everything clean,” he noted, creating a nude lip with Votre Vu’s Drawmatic Lip Liner in Naked ($21), topped with the brand's French Kiss. Alves’ lid boasted a hint of gold, thanks to the company's Palette Play in Copper ($42), giving hubby Matthew McConaughey a double dose of gold.
