See if Mae Whitman Can Remember the Names of Her Childhood Characters (Video)
The 'Parenthood' actress had memorable roles in movies like 'Independence Day,' 'One Fine Day' and 'Hope Floats.'
Mae Whitman may be all grown up now, but the actress — who recently wrapped a six-season run on Parenthood and currently stars in CBS Films' high-school movie The DUFF — got her start playing the daughter of several characters played by some of Hollywood's biggest names.
Whitman had parts in the memorable '90s movies Independence Day, One Fine Day, Hope Floats and When a Man Loves a Woman.
But can she remember the names of the characters she played? That's exactly what Live! With Kelly and Michael hosts Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan wondered on Thursday's show.
So Ripa and Strahan put Whitman to the test, asking her if she remembered the names of characters she played — daughters to characters played by Bill Pullman, Sandra Bullock, Meg Ryan, Andy Garcia and George Clooney.
Check out the video below to see how she does.
