The Canadian distributor will continue to handle titles for Bob Weinstein, like the upcoming "Paddington" and "The Railway Man," through 2019.

TORONTO – Entertainment One has renewed its Canadian output deal with The Weinstein Company through 2019.

The Canadian distributor inherited the supply deal when it acquired rival Alliance Films in January 2013.

Upcoming Weinstein Company titles covered under the deal, which runs through December 31, 2019, include Paddington, St. Vincent De Van Nuys, The Giver and The Railway Man.

"eOne has proven to be a first-class partner with an unparalleled expertise in the Canadian market,” said Bob Weinstein, co-chairman of The Weinstein Company, in a statement on Wednesday.

The new agreement also includes The Weinstein Company's Radius premium VOD slate in Canada.

Nelson Kuo-Lee, Richard Rapkowski and Patrice Theroux brokered the deal for eOne, with David Glasser, Irwin Reiter and Andy Kim acting for The Weinstein Company.
