Canada's Incendo Names Former SODEC Exec Jean-Philippe Normandeau as COO
The hire by Canada's largest TV distributor and TV movie producer comes a month after Jean Bureau bought out co-founder Stephen Greenberg.
TORONTO – Former SODEC exec Jean-Philippe Normandeau has joined Montreal indie producer/distributor Incendo as COO.
The hire comes a month after president Jean Bureau bought out co-founder Stephen Greenberg to take control of Canada's largest TV distributor, via a pact with Twentieth Century Fox, Fox/Incendo Television Distribution.
Incendo also handles theatrical distribution in Quebec for Paramount films.
Normandeau was most recently general manager, financing and tax credits, at SODEC, the Quebec provincial government's film financier.
While at that post, he promoted Quebec's film tax credit to Hollywood film studios.
In other hiring news Tuesday, indie producer Berkshire Axis Media named former Christal Films exec Tony Wosk as director of acquisitions and distribution.
