Blake Lively Is the Princess of Cannes 2016

Disney's Cinderella would be proud.

"It’s all in the details,” reads one of Blake Lively’s Instagram posts from Cannes, and clearly the actress — here for the world premiere of Woody Allen’s Cafe Society and as an ambassador of festival sponsor L’Oreal — arrived at the French Riviera with very specific fashion plans.

Many red-carpet watchers were quick to dub Kristen Stewart the "Queen of Cannes" because she has two films premiering here (Cafe Society and Personal Shopper), but after Lively’s Disney-inspired looks, she has earned her stripes with another impressive title, the "Princess of Cannes."

For the Slack Bay premiere, the expectant star stepped out in a Vivienne Westwood Couture ball gown embroidered with sequined flowers, followed up with a sparkly Atelier Versace dress that hugged her curves and showed off her growing baby bump. Ryan Reynolds’ other half also stole the show in more casual looks, such as a mustard-yellow Valentino that she wore to a Cafe Society luncheon, paired with Jimmy Choo stems and blue teardrop earrings.

And since she was without her husband at Cannes, she needed a backup date and found a pretty fabulous one, escorting the "most handsome man on the carpet," Christian Louboutin. ("The one and only," she posted on Instagram.) But about those posts, none of Lively’s words provide a better summary of her stunning festival style thus far than this: "There’s no place like Cannes."
