Vincent Lindon in 'The Meausre of a Man'

The film has sold to 20 territories.

MK2 has racked up strong sales for The Measure of a Man in Cannes.

The competition entry from Cesar winner Stephane Brize has already sold to 20 territories, including Benelux, Portugal, Italy, former Yugoslavia, Switzerland, Greece, Turkey, Hungary, Taiwan, the Middle East, Sweden, Denmark and Tunisia.

Additional territories including the U.S., Spain, China and Brazil are expected to close soon.

The film has received rave reviews for star Vincent Lindon as a working man who must make a moral choice as he’s struggling to make ends meet following a long period of unemployment. The Hollywood Reporter's Jordan Mintzer called the social drama “gripping."

"Teaming up once again for a film that leaves many things unsaid while saying a whole lot, director Stephane Brize and star Vincent Lindon offer up an impressive foray into social drama with the working-class chronicle," Mintzer wrote.
