Carnaby is screening the film — also starring Josh Hartnett — to buyers in Cannes.

Vertical Entertainment has acquired North American distribution rights to Alexandra McGuinness’ desert thriller She's Missing.

Described as a "complex portrait of female friendship and small-town yearning," the film stars Lucy Fry (Godfather of Harlem, Bright), Eiza Gonzalez (Hobbs & Shaw, Godzilla vs. Kong), Josh Hartnett (Oh Lucy!, Penny Dreadful) and Christian Camargo (See, Days and Nights).

It is written and directed by McGuinness and produced by Anna O’Malley, Dominic Wright and Eamonn Cleary.

The film featured at the Newport Beach Film Festival and the deal was brokered by Josh Spector from Vertical and CAA Media Finance.

Carnaby International, which is handling distribution rights for the rest of the world, will be screening the film to buyers during the Cannes market.

The film was produced by TW Films and Ripple World Pictures and financed by Screen Ireland and GCI Films.

Gonzalez is represented by CAA and Management 360, Fry is represented by WME and 3 Arts, and Camargo is represented by Innovative Artists, Brillstein Entertainment Partners and Hamilton Hodell.
