Cara Delevingne Wears 3 Bad Wigs and a Bodysuit of CGI Butterflies in First Music Video
Are you feeling everything?
Cara Delevingne's music video for her debut track, "I Feel Everything," which is featured on the soundtrack for her new sci-fi film, Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, is strange. Really strange.
Directed by Valerian's Luc Besson, the video is both a promotion for the film and, apparently, for the wig industry. Spliced between clips of Delevingne and her co-star Dane DeHaan doing their space-y thing in scenes from the flick, are shots of the 24-year-old wearing wigs while singing along to the Pharrell-produced jam as the lyrics are etched onto her face.
Dressed in a black power suit and stilettos, the video opens with Delevingne outfitted in a choppy platinum-blonde wig before she swaps the look for a blunt brunette bob with bangs. Completing the hair-color trifecta, the Brit then tries a long Jessica Rabbit-red wig on for size, all while aiming her signature smirk at the camera.
Suddenly and inexplicably, Delevingne then ditches her various disguises for a computer-generated bodysuit of purple butterflies, which flutter about her body. Perhaps the costume change is a nod to a plot element in the film, or maybe Delevingne just really likes butterflies. Guess we'll have to watch the movie to find out.
