It marked her first televised performance since giving birth to her daughter Kulture in July.
Cardi B performed her hit single "I Like It" alongside J Balvin and Bad Bunny at Tuesday's American Music Awards, marking her first televised performance since giving birth to her daughter Kulture in July.
Neon palm trees, dancers in bright outfits and Latin band members filled the stage as Cardi B — donning a colorful dress-turned-romper and matching boots — rapped and danced along to the song.
Going into the awards show, Cardi B led this year's nominations with Drake, each earning eight nods. So far, she's won the AMA for best rap/hip-hop artist.
"I Like It" was Cardi B's second song from her first full-length album, Invasion of Privacy, to score No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The track's success led to Cardi B becoming the first female rapper with two No. 1s on the Hot 100, and only the 23rd act to have earned at least two leaders from a debut LP.
The 46th annual AMAs are being broadcast on ABC from L.A.'s Microsoft Theater with Tracee Ellis Ross as host.
