"I wish they’d call me up and ask me to do it," said the former 'Baywatch' star of the upcoming reboot.

The Baywatch reboot is in full swing, but there may not be a cameo from the series' Carmen Electra.

The actress told The Hollywood Reporter at Nancy Davis' Race to Erase MS gala Friday night that she would have loved to have been in the reboot of the popular '90s TV show (starring Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron) had she been asked.

Johnson previously announced on his Facebook page that Electra's fellow castmember from the original Baywatch, David Hasselhoff, would be appearing in the new film. Electra starred in multiple episodes along with Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson.

"I would love to. I think it’s going to be a lot of fun. It’s a comedy and I completely support it," said Electra. "I know that David Hasselhoff is doing a cameo so it would be awesome. I wish they’d call me up and ask me to do it. I’d be there in a heartbeat."

Baywatch follows the life of a group of elite California lifeguards. Seth Gordon is directing the film, which started shooting on Feb. 22.
