NYU’s student film festival, set to run March 3-5, will feature panelists and screenings.

NYU's Fusion Film Festival will honor Carol producer Christine Vachon as its Woman of the Year, it was announced Wednesday.

The annual festival, which is put together by the university's Tisch School of the Arts student body, also has set a series of panels and speakers including Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt writer Azie Dungey, three-time Emmy Award winner Julie Rottenberg and Vice’s Gianna Toboni. The festival is set to run March 3-5.

The event will honor Vachon, best known for producing such actress-led dramas as Still Alice and Boys Don’t Cry through her Killer Films banner, on opening night.

Screenings of the finalists in the Fusion Film Festival 2016 Competition and an awards ceremony will close out the festival.

Most of the events are free and open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. The festival will be hosted primarily in NYU’s Tisch Theater 006 and the Cantor Film Center.
