TORONTO -- Canadian producer CarpeDiem on Tuesday launched a Montreal animation house led by veteran compositor and studio manager Francois Vachon ("300").

The facility, dubbed Animation Station, will be christened with production of "My Life Me," a 26-episode, half-hour 2-D/3-D cartoon series from Carpediem and TV Loonland for Teletoon Canada, France 2 and Canal J.

TV Loonland is handling worldwide distribution of the animated comedy about a 13-year-old budding manga artist.
