'The Carrie Diaries' Katie Findlay Toplines 'The Dark Stranger' Feature

The Canadian indie film, now shooting in Toronto, also stars Enrico Colantoni, Stephen McHattie and Mark O’Brien.

TORONTO -- The Carrie Diaries' Katie Findlay has the lead in Chris Trebilcock's psychological thriller The Dark Stranger.

The Canadian indie film is about a young artist who draws a dark graphic novel in which an ominous stranger pursues a lonely girl doll, only to see this stranger in real life. It also stars Enrico Colantoni, Stephen McHattie and Mark O'Brien.

The Dark Stranger is shooting in Toronto through April 28, 2014.

Paula Devonshire and Glen Wood are producing The Dark Stranger, with Mark Gingras, Jay Firestone, Vanessa Piazza and John Carbone sharing the executive producer credits.

Berkshire Axis Media will release the film in Canada, with Moonstone Entertainment handling international sales.
