Carrie Fisher may pledge 'Row'

Jamie Chung, Audrina Patridge set to join cast

Carrie Fisher is in negotiations, while "Samurai Girl" star Jamie Chung and Audrina Patridge from "The Hills" are set to join the cast of "Sorority Row," Summit's remake of the 1983 horror movie, "The House on Sorority Row."

Also in the cast are Rumer Willis, Julian Morris, Leah Pipes, Margo Harshman and the previously announced Briana Evigan.

The plot sees a group of sorority sisters try to cover up the death of their house-sister after a prank gone wrong, only to be stalked and killed by a serial killer.

Fisher would play the sorority's house mother. Chung and Patridge play two of the sisters who die sadistic deaths.

Stewart Hendler is directing; Mike Karz and Darin Holender produce.

Shooting set to start in early October in Pittsburgh.

Fisher, repped by APA, received an Emmy nomination for her guest turn on NBC's "30 Rock." (she lost; this was awarded saturday)

Chung, repped by Gersh and Kritzer Levine Wilkins, will next be seen on the big screen opposite Justin Chatwin and Emmy Rossum in next year's "Dragonball."

Patridge, repped by APA and Gladys Gonzalez, continues to make her push into acting, having recently wrapped her debut with "Into the Blue 2."
