Jaime King is starring in "A Fork in the Road," written and directed by screenwriter-turned-director Jim Kouf. Paul Bernard and James Scura are producing. Josh Cook also stars in the story of an escaped convict who witnesses a farm wife (King) murder a man, forcing them to band together. Shooting is under way in Montana. King, who most recently appeared on the CBS series "The Class," just completed filming the indie features "They Wait" and "The Pardon." Her credits include "Sin City" and "Pearl Harbor." King is repped by WMA and Myman, Abell, Fineman, Fox, Greenspan & Light. … Corey Pearson ("Still Life") has booked a role in New Line's ensemble comedy "He's Just Not That Into You" for director Ken Kwapis. Pearson will play a singer/stud whom Drew Barrymore meets via MySpace. He also recently booked a guest spot on CBS' "CSI: NY." Pearson is repped by Global Artists Agency and managed by Colton Gramm at BGE. … Jason Clarke has joined the cast of Universal's "Death Race," being directed Paul W.S. Anderson. In the Jason Statham-toplined remake of the Roger Corman cult classic, Clarke will play Ulrich, the head guard at the prison where deadly race games take place and who supervises the murder of Statham's wife. Clarke recently wrapped his second season of Showtime's "Brotherhood" and completed production on the indie film "Still Waters." He is repped by Robert Stein Management and recently signed with WMA. … Lisa Tucker has joined the cast of "The Hustle," a comedy starring Charlie Murphy and David Alan Grier. Tucker will play a streetwise, gospel-singing bad girl. A finalist on "American Idol" in 2006, Tucker began her acting and singing career playing the lead role of Young Nala in "The Lion King" at the Pantages in Hollywood. She is repped by CAA and Matt Sherman Management. … Krysten Ritter has been added to the cast of "What Happens in Vegas …," starring Ashton Kutcher and Cameron Diaz. She will play Kutcher's girlfriend in the Fox film. Ritter completed work on three films during the summer: Fox 2000's "27 Dresses" and the indie features "Frost" and "Buzz Kill." She recurs on the Fox comedy " 'Til Death" as the daughter of Brad Garrett and Joely Fisher. Ritter is repped by Innovative, the Group Entertainment and Sanders/Armstrong/Caserta Management. … Will Kemp is starring in "Step Up 2," being directed by Jon Chu. Kemp will play a successful Hollywood choreographer who feels overshadowed by his brother. Kemp, who trained at the Royal Ballet School and played the lead role of the Swan in Matthew Bourne's "Swan Lake," appeared in "Van Helsing" opposite Kate Beckinsale and Hugh Jackman. He most recently appeared in the West End revival of "Equus," starring Daniel Radcliffe. Kemp is repped by CAA, the U.K.'s PFD and Sloane, Offer, Weber and Dern.
