'Catfight' Nabbed by Dark Sky Films, Sets March Release

Sandra Oh and Anne Heche star in the dark comedy as estranged college friends who violently reunite after 20 years.

MPI's Dark Sky Films has acquired Catfight, the buzzy film that debuted at the Toronto Film Festival in September, The Hollywood Reporter has learned exclusively.

The title will hit theaters and VOD on March 3.

Directed by Onur Tukel, the dark comedy stars Sandra Oh and Anne Heche as estranged college friends who unexpectedly meet again after 20 years. Their old wounds are violently ripped open at a cocktail party — teeth are bared, roles are reversed and blood is drawn as each woman jockeys for dominance and refuses to go down without a fight.

Alicia Silverstone, Dylan Baker and Tituss Burgess are also featured among the cast.

Gigi Graff and Greg Newman produced the film, with Malik Ali, Badie Ali and Hamza Ali as executive producers.
