CBS comes out ahead on quiet Sunday


CBS was the top network on a quiet postseason Sunday night.

The network, which aired "60 Minutes" followed by repeats of crime dramas "Without a Trace" and "Cold Case," averaged 8.6 million viewers and a 1.7 rating/5 share among adults 18-49, according to preliminary Niesen data.

In the demo, CBS was tied with Fox (4.2 million, 1.7/5), which aired feature "Bad Boys 2."

ABC (4.9 million, 1.6/5) was a close third in 18-49 with its regular Sunday lineup in repeats.

NBC (4.1 million, 1.2/4) was a distant fourth with a two-hour "Dateline" and reuns of "Friday Night Lights" and "Law & Order: SVU."
