CBS inks talent deal with Jason Clarke

Actor to star in drama pilot aimed for next season

Jason Clarke has inked a talent holding deal with CBS to star in a drama pilot targeted for next season.

The pact stems from Clark's performance as the lead in CBS' untitled U.S. attorney drama pilot last development season.

He is the third actor from a 2009 CBS drama pilot to land a major gig on the network after their project was not picked up.

Adam Jamal Craig and Eddie Cibrian of "Washington Field" were added as regulars to "NCIS: Los Angeles" and "CSI Miami," respectively.

The Aussie Clarke, repped by UTA and Robert Stein Management, starred on Showtime's "Brotherhood" and recently appeared in the feature "Public Enemies." He is filming the indie "Yelling to the Sky" and Oliver Stone's "Wall Street 2" for Fox.
