CBS Radio to power AOL Radio

NEW YORK -- CBS Radio will power AOL Radio and drive advertising sales for the portal's stations, the companies said Friday.

The partnership will make over 150 CBS Radio stations available via streaming through AOL's network. These stations include sports talk station WFAN and news-focused 1010 WINS, both in New York, KLSX and KROQ in Los Angeles and WXRT in Chicago.

CBS Radio will also sell advertising for the more than 200 AOL stations in addition to its own properties.

In addition, the two companies will work to develop a new player and complete support for Mac computers.
