Signs first-look agreement with Oni Press and its sibling

SAN DIEGO -- CBS TV Studios has entered into a first-look deal with "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World" comic book publisher Oni Press and its sister company, Closed on Mondays Entertainment.

The deal allows CBS to pull from the publishers' library of comic and graphic novels to develop TV and event programming.

"We have had great success in the feature film world, and we see this partnership with CBS Television Studios as the launch of what is going to be a significant television business."
