From Kylie Jenner to Beyonce, the year saw a few standout products come to market.

Fashion designers aren’t the only ones who got into the beauty business in 2015. It wasn't until November that the Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani Eyeshadow Palette ($58) — which comprises 15 shadows hand-selected by the super-glam singer — became available. Out of the 15, just three are existing shades. The other 12 are brand-new intensely pigmented hues that go from nudes to midnight blue, gold and even hot pink.

In late summer, Beyonce partnered with Flash Tattoos for her own 57-piece pack ($28) of gold, black and silver designs that included lyrics and words like "flawless," honeycomb imagery and an ornate — and large — gun. Victoria Beckham x Nails Inc. ($45) offered two limited-edition shades, inspired by Beckham's spring 2015 collection: a classic red and an eggshell white hue, both in chic minimal square bottles.

MAC, which routinely gets top stars to co-create shades with them, secured Mariah Carey for a late-year collab that resulted in an appropriately '90s-style pale pink frosted lipstick ($17). It’s oh so Mimi. (Also right in line with their personalities were the hues that benefited the MAC AIDS Fund as part of Miley Cyrus’ and Ariana Grande’s Viva Glam releases.) We can’t wait to see what 2016 will bring.
