PARIS -- Pascale Ferran's "Lady Chatterley" has been feeling the "Cesar effect." After winning France's top film honor Saturday night, the critics' favorite finally saw some strong boxoffice numbers, with a 216% increase in admissions over the last week.

The film, showing in 55 cinemas nationwide and distributed in France by Ad Vitam, has sold 16,553 tickets since last Wednesday, allowing it to cross the 200,000 ticket mark after 17 weeks in theaters.
