CFC pairs with E1 Entertainment

Deal addresses domestic, international distribution

TORONTO -- Norman Jewison's Canadian Film Center (CFC) has signed a film output deal with domestic distributor E1 Entertainment.

As part of the agreement, Toronto-based E1 will release all CFC-produced low-budget features domestically, and sell them into the international market.

The movie supply deal follows the recent release of CFC titles "Nurse.Fighter.Boy," by director Charles Officer, and Paul Fox's "The Dark Hours."

The CFC earlier struck a separate TV development deal with NBC Universal to hothouse series concepts from Canadian indie producers for possible development by the Hollywood studio.
