The EDM duo have been named global brand ambassadors for Tommy Hilfiger menswear.

The Chainsmokers — the EDM duo comprised of Alex Pall and Andrew Taggart — are joining Tommy Hilfiger's crew.

The American fashion house announced Monday that the pair has been recruited as global brand ambassadors for Tommy Hilfiger menswear, including Hilfiger Edition, Tommy Hilfiger Tailored and Tommy Hilfiger sportswear.

"The Chainsmokers are at the center of modern pop culture and their music resonates with a global audience," Hilfiger said in a statement. "I admire the way they have carved out a new niche that fuses indie, pop, dance and hip-hop. Alex and Drew are truly the perfect definition of today’s Tommy Guy — their talent, optimism, unique sound and effortless cool have made them stand out in the music world."

Added Pall and Taggart: "Like Tommy Hilfiger, we have always believed in celebrating individuality and breaking conventions."

The performers most recently appeared on ABC's Good Morning America, performing in striped shirts by Hilfiger. Pall and Taggart are styled by Siena Montesano, who previously worked with Karla Welch.

The Chainsmokers, established in 2012, have sold more than 10 million singles and are currently the third-most-streamed artist in the world. At this year's Billboard Music Awards, they took home honors for Top Dance/Electronic Artist and Top 100 Song (as well as Top Collaboration) for "Closer," featuring Halsey.

Hilfiger is no stranger to working with the music world, having dressed Usher, Mark Ronson and the late Aaliyah in the 1990s, as well as Britney Spears for her North American tour in 1999.

The designer's next show with Gigi Hadid will also center on music, taking place at London's iconic Roundhouse music venue, which was initially built as a turntable engine shed in 1846. It became a concert space in the late 1960s, with performances from The Rolling Stones, The Beatles and Jimi Hendrix.

The Chainsmokers' first campaign with Tommy Hilfiger breaks globally in the fall.
