Chamberlain to chair Women in Film and TV

Organization also appoints two vice-chairs

LONDON -- Women in Film and Television has appointed April Chamberlain as its new chair.

Alison Small and Lyn Burgess also have been appointed vice-chairs of the organization said Tuesday.

A former BBC Scotland executive, Chamberlain is a founding member and managing director of production and finance banner the Comedy Unit.

Small comes aboard with eight years experience at the Film Commission Office of the U.K. Film Council.

Burgess has 20 years experience working in HR and is a specialist coach for people in film and television.
