Chao back in business

LAS VEGAS -- Stephen Chao, the former TV wunderkind who rose through the ranks at Fox and USA Network, is back in the media game with a new online venture.

The executive is behind, a library of how-to videos that has an ad sales partnership in place with Scripps Networks. Videos will range from "how to tie a tie" to "how to train your cat to use the toilet."

The library will have more than 90,000 short form videos. The venture has financing from General Catalyst Partners.

Chao was instrumental in the development of unscripted staples "America's Most Wanted" and "Cops," but he has not been active in the domestic TV business since leaving USA in 2001 after notorious scraps with Rupert Murdoch and Barry Diller.
