James Woods fired back: "Chattanooga exposes AGAIN several liberal fallacies: 'gun free zones' are 'safe'; military shouldn't be armed; POTUS cares about military."
A gunman opened fire at two military centers in Chattanooga, Tennessee on Thursday, leaving four Marines and the attacker dead.
The shooter has since been identified as 24-year-old Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez, and the FBI is currently investigating the attack as a possible act of terrorism.
President Obama spoke about the fatal shooting shortly following reports, vowing that the FBI would be taking the lead in a "thorough and prompt" investigation.
"It is a heartbreaking circumstance for these individuals who served our country with great valor to be killed in this fashion," he said. "And although the families are still in the process of being contacted, I want them to know that I speak for the American people in expressing our deepest condolences, and knowing that they have our full support as they try to overcome the grief that's involved here."
Here's how a handful of Hollywood figures and other notables reacted to news of the tragedy.
