"You need to tell that f—ing asshole this is an unacceptable way to treat women," said Chelsea Handler.

Sarah Silverman and Planned Parenthood president Cecile Richards visited Chelsea Handler's Netflix show and talked about Donald Trump's treatment of women and the role they think his daughter Ivanka Trump should play as an advocate for women's health.

Richards explained that Planned Parenthood does much more than provide abortions, such as offering breast and cervical cancer screenings, but that there are some politicians who just focus on the abortion services, which don't get federal funding. She said she has met with Ivanka Trump and explained to her in detail what the organization does.

"So far, the White House has been a total zero on women and women's health," said Richards. "I think Ivanka's job now is that she's in charge of all women's issues. This would be time to kind of step up."

"Sarah, do you think she has any influence at all?" Handler asked, turning to Silverman.

"I'm so dead inside when it comes to all of this," said Silverman, adding that she feels "disheartened." She said she saw Ivanka followed her on Twitter, so she direct-messaged her. "I was like, 'This is your chance. You are writing your life story here.'"

Handler said her own father is "an asshole" too, likening him to President Trump but saying that he's not successful, so he's just her family's problem, not everyone's problem. She said she spent her whole life calling him out, so it's tough for her to understand why Ivanka doesn't do the same thing.

"I know all women feel this way toward Ivanka right now, but I'm like, 'You need to tell that f—ing asshole this is an unacceptable way to treat women. We're moving backward,'" said Handler.
