Chiavelli back at THR as vp in sales dept.
EmptyAdvertising industry veteran Millie Chiavelli has rejoined The Hollywood Reporter, saying Tuesday that she has accepted the newly created role of vp integrated sales and marketing for national television, cable and consumer accounts.
Chiavelli begins Monday and will report to Eric Mika, the newly installed senior vp, publishing director at THR.
Based in New York, Chiavelli will oversee management of the New York sales office and all television, cable and consumer advertising.
Chiavelli has more than 20 years of experience in print and digital media sales, most recently as national advertising sales director at Advertising Age. She also was Eastern sales director at THR from 1998-2004 and has had stints at Parade magazine, Broadcasting & Cable and Electronic Media, now renamed Television Week.
Chiavelli said The Reporter is "one of the strongest entertainment media brands in the industry, and I'm looking forward to working with our great sales team to drive innovative sales and marketing strategies that expand our already strong position."
