'Chicken' on Fox's pilot menu

Fox is "Playing Chicken" with a pilot order to a multicamera comedy from Warner Bros. TV and studio-based Werner-Gold-Miller.

Additionally, the network has handed out a presentation order to a single-camera partially scripted comedy about revenge from Fox 21.

Written by Sean Anders and John Morris ("Never Been Thawed"), "Chicken" centers on Jake, a loud-mouthed conservative, and his brother Tim, an intellectual leftie, who are forced to live together after Jake suffers an accident that leaves him wheelchair-bound.

Tom Werner, Eric Gold and Jimmy Miller are executive producing, with Anders and Morris serving as co-executive producers.

The untitled revenge project, from writer/director/executive producer Damon Santostefano, revolves around three thrill-seeking girlfriends who, fed up with the lying, cheating and lack of commitment by men, hit the road to settle the score with all of the men that have ever wronged them.

Santostefano's directing credits include "Three to Tango" and "Bring It On Again."
