"The Three Stooges" star plays a TV host dropped into the remote wilderness to fight more than the elements.

TORONTO – The Three Stooges' Chris Diamantopoulos is toplining Man Vs., the Canadian thriller written and directed by Adam Massey for Darius Films and Entertainment One.

Diamantopoulos is playing the host and star of his own hit TV series who is dropped off in a remote wilderness and forced to fight more than the elements.

Massey wrote the Man Vs. script with Thomas Michael.

STORY: The Odd Phenomenon of Big-Name Filmmakers 'Presenting' Others' Awards Hopefuls 

The Canadian film is set to shoot through Nov. 15 in Rockwood Conservation Area, an hour from Toronto, and is slated for a 2014 release domestically by Entertainment One.

Nicholas Tabarrok and Leah Jaunzems are producing, with Tim Corrigan executive producing.

Diamantopoulos recently starred alongside Kurt Russell, Jay Baruchel and Matt Dillon in The Art of the Steal, also from Darius Films.

Man Vs. will be sold internationally by Tajj Media.
