The host also posted a tweet urging viewers to "Get ready."

Chris Rock made sure he was fueled up to host the Oscars on Sunday.

The host tweeted a video of himself ordering breakfast at a McDonald's drive-thru earlier in the day.

Rock's order: hotcakes, sausage and a large orange juice.

The host hashtagged the tweet #OscarsDiet.

He also urged viewers to be prepared for the big show, posting a photo of a handwritten note on Oscars stationery reading, "Get ready."

Rock has remained silent, apart from a few social media messages over the past couple of months, canceling all press interviews, including one for a THR cover story, after the Oscar nominations were announced. (He did, however, pose for a THR photo shoot and participate in a video interview in mid-December, before the nominations were announced.)

For the second year in a row, no nonwhite performers were nominated for the acting awards, and it's widely expected that Rock will address the lack of diversity among this year's nominations in his opening monologue.

Shortly after the nominations were announced, Rock tweeted an ad for the show, calling the Oscars "The White BET Awards." On Friday, he posted a video of static to Twitter and wrote "See you Sunday…#blackout."
