The actor had to speak out after a picture posted to social media that featured a lookalike went viral.

Chuck Norris began trending on social media Tuesday morning when someone who attended the Capitol riot last Wednesday posted a picture with a man who resembled the iconic actor and claimed it was, in fact, him.

Norris' manager told The Hollywood Reporter that not only was it not the actor in the picture, he was nowhere near D.C. at the time.

"This is not Chuck Norris and is a wannabe lookalike, although Chuck is much more handsome," Norris' manager said in a statement. "Chuck remains on his ranch in Texas where he has been with his family."

Norris, a known conservative who reportedly endorsed Donald Trump in 2016, did not weigh in on his preferred candidate in the 2020 election.

As for Trump, he broke his silence Tuesday morning when he told reporters he has zero regrets about his actions leading up to the deadly riot. Congress is in the midst of impeaching him a historical second time, which is expected to take place Wednesday.
