Cinecitta up and running after fire destruction

ROME -- The Italian capital's Cinecitta Studios is back up to regular capacity less then two months after a fire destroyed part of the lot, the studio said Thursday.

The Aug. 9 blaze dramatically destroyed a large section of one of Cinecitta's main back lots, including part of the set used for the HBO/BBC-produced "Rome" series.

Cinecitta was able to work around the damage, as only one production -- an episode of the U.K. television program "Dr. Who" -- was delayed.
