Cinefondation to host 6th Cannes event

Atelier networking rendez-vous to feature 15 projects

PARIS -- Experienced directors will mingle with first-timers when the Festival de Cannes' own networking event the Cinefondation's Atelier heads to the Riviera town from May 14 - May 21 for its sixth edition.

This year's edition will see 15 projects from 15 countries represented by their respective directors and producers for a series of meetings with film industry professionals during the famous film festival.

Japanese director Shinji Aoyama will head to town with his 15th feature "Decadent Sisters," Moroccan helmer Nabil Ayouch with his fourth feature "Les Etoiles de Sidi Moumen" and Spanish director Jaimes Rosales also with his fourth feature "Dream and Silence."

First-time directors include Show-Chun Lee from France, Karoly Ujj Meszaros from Hungary, Diego Quemada-Diez from Mexico and Ruben Sierra Salles from Venezuela.
