CMT Music Awards: Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan Among Performers

Keith Urban also joins the lineup of musicians that will perform live in Nashville.

Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan are among country superstars that will perform during the 2016 CMT Music Awards, the network announced Thursday.

Chris Stapleton, Florida Georgia Line, Jason Aldean, Keith Urban and Thomas Rhett also are among male country stars that will give audiences a performance during the fan-voted awards.

Country fans also can expect joint performances from The Voice coach Shelton and Country Music Hall of Fame members The Oak Ridge Boys for a collaboration of Shelton's "Doin’ It to a Country Song," as well as a musical showcase from Urban and his tourmates — Brett Eldredge and Maren Morris —  of songs from Urban's most recent album, Ripcord.

Additional performers scheduled for the awards will be announced at a later date.

Voting is open and will continue until Monday, June 6, at 12:01 a.m. The awards show will air live from Nashville on June 8 at 8 p.m. ET (taped-delayed PT).
