CNN Cuts Ties With Political Strategist Roger Stone
"Funny - seems the Clintons have ordered CNN not to interview me in the future because I am not PC," the conservative political strategist tweeted.
Controversial conservative political strategist Roger Stone is done at CNN, the network confirmed Tuesday to The Hollywood Reporter.
"He will no longer appear as a CNN guest," a spokeswoman told THR.
No additional information or explanation was offered.
Stone served as a political strategist to Donald Trump for a time, but that relationship ended last August. Trump said he fired Stone. Stone said he quit.
“I really don’t want publicity seekers who want to be on magazines or who are out for themselves," Trump said at the time. "This campaign is not about them. It’s about victory and making America great again."
Stone continued to be a Trump supporter and appeared as a pundit on CNN and Fox News.
In response to the CNN announcement, Stone tweeted: "Funny - seems the Clintons have ordered CNN not to interview me in the future because I am not PC."
