"We don't want to take anyone else's," they say in a joint statement.

The Coen Brothers's western True Grit has been nominated for 10 Oscars.

“Ten seems like an awful lot,” they said in a joint statement after Tuesday’s announcement.
The two seemed to have nabbed Christopher Nolan’s slot in the Best Director category.
All the other 2011 DGA nominees -- Darren Aronofsky (Black Swan), David Fincher (The Social Network), David O. Russell (The Fighter) and Tom Hooper (The King's Speech) -- were nominated for an Academy Award, but Nolan was conspicuously absent.
Though they didn’t address Nolan’s noticeable snub, the Coen Bros said of their nominations: "We don't want to take anyone else's."
