'Cold Case' showrunner inks new deal

Greg Plageman will continue to co-run crime drama

"Cold Case" executive producer/co-showrunner Greg Plageman has inked a two-year overall deal with the series' producer, Warner Bros. TV.

Under the pact, Plageman will continue to co-run the veteran CBS crime drama with Jennifer Johnson. He also will develop new projects for the studio.

Plageman is in his fourth season on "Cold Case," a co-production of Warner Bros. TV, Jerry Bruckheimer TV and CBS Studios, his second as co-showrunner.

He started out with a three-year stint on ABC's "NYPD Blue," then was on another cop drama, NBC's "Law & Order," before joining "Cold Case" as a supervising producer.

"Cold Case," starring Kathryn Morris as a Philadelphia homicide detective in charge of solving cold cases, returned this fall for a seventh season.

Plageman is repped by WME and attorney Jared Levine.
