Comedy Central wants more 'Tosh.0'

Network orders six more episodes of the new series

Welcome to "Tosh 2.0."

Comedy Central has ordered six additional episodes of the weekly freshman series "Tosh.0." The show will return with new episodes at 10 p.m. Oct. 8.

Hosted by comedian Daniel Tosh, the show mocks the online world. It launched in June with an initial order for 10 episodes, which averaged more than 1 million viewers. Among men 18-24 and 18-34, the series ranks No. 2 among all cable networks in the Thursday 10 p.m. slot.

Additionally, "Tosh.0" has garnered a sold Internet following.

During the show's hiatus, the "Tosh.0" blog will continue to offer original content and interaction with Tosh.

"Tosh.0" was one of two new series Comedy Central launched this summer, along with "Michael & Michael Have Issues."
