'Wolf Hall' Co-Producer Company Pictures Gets New CEO
Michele Buck will lead the U.K. production company that is part of All3Media, co-owned by Discovery Communications and Liberty Global.
Production company All3Media, jointly owned by Discovery Communications and Liberty Global, has appointed Michele Buck to the role of CEO at its U.K. production firm Company Pictures.
She will start her new role on July 1. Company Pictures productions have included Shameless in the U.K., Skins, Wolf Hall, which it co-prodcued, and The White Queen, among others.
Buck recently stepped down as joint managing director of Mammoth Screen, the production company she co-founded in 2007 that recently was acquired by ITV. With Mammoth, she worked on such dramas as Parade’s End for BBC Two, Endeavour for ITV1 and Poldark for BBC One. Buck previously served as controller of drama, United Productions and ITV from 1998 to 2007.

Established in 1998, Company Pictures is one of the U.K.’s largest independent film and TV drama production companies. Its shows have included Shameless, Skins, The White Queen and The Village.
