Constantin loses head of acquisitions

Yoko Higuchi-Zitzman leaving for Telepool

COLOGNE, Germany -- The exodus continues at German indie film giant Constantin, as Constantin acquisitions head Yoko Higuchi-Zitzmann on Monday announced her move to competitor Telepool.

Higuchi-Zitzmann, the head of acquisitions at Constantin since 2005, is on maternity leave but will join Telepool in January as head of film distribution, reporting to Telepool managing director Thomas Weymer.

Constantin -- in the process of being acquired by Munich-based EM.Sport Media -- has lost several top execs in the past few months, including distribution and marketing head Thomas Peter Friedl and CEO Fred Kogel, who will resign at the end of the year.
