"Crazy" Times Square Naked Man Also High-Fashion Runway Model
As well as an underwear model, of course.
First comes the Dolce & Gabbana runway — next comes a naked jaunt through Times Square?
This appears to be the path for Krit McClean, a New York City-based model whose work for Dolce & Gabbana, Versace, Out Magazine and GQ Thailand was overshadowed by his escapades in Times Square yesterday.
McClean made headlines Thursday morning after parading around the red steps in his birthday suit whilst bellowing, "Donald Trump, where are you?!" as well as, "I love fashion — it's taught me so much!" The New York Post reports that after an hourlong show, he leapt off the ledge — missing the airbag which police had deployed — and was then escorted to Bellevue Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
According to his blog, the 21-year-old is signed to One Model Management in New York, Elite in Italy and Mannequins in Asia, and has also modeled for CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund finalist Rochambeau, Andrea Incontri and men's underwear brand 2(X)ist. "Fashion is personal and subjective," he writes in his blog bio.
"To me, an outfit is a way to express your aesthetic to the surrounding world, but more importantly, to yourself." From the looks of the bystander photos, it appears that McClean has managed to express himself to the world even without an outfit.
