James Corden and Allison Janney kiss at the Critics' Choice TV Awards.

Adrien Brody and Halle Berry have nothing on these two.

It's a good year to be James Corden.

Corden, who took over as host of CBS' The Late Late Show in March, presented Mom star Allison Janney with her best supporting actress prize at the fifth annual Critics' Choice TV Awards on Sunday, where the two got surprisingly friendly.

After Corden introduced Janney as "one of the best actresses I've ever met," Janney made her way to the stage to accept the award. Corden was bowing down to her, and as he got up to hug her, they had an awkward moment, before they both just decided to start making out in front of the audience.

During the kiss, Corden, who is married with two children, put his hand behind Janney's head. Janney is single and has no children.

Video of the startling moment can be seen below.
