Former CTV Entertainment Boss Jordan Schwartz Lands at Rogers Media Television
The veteran Canadian creative exec is to help Rogers Media secure synergies from its varied TV properties under one entertainment brand.
TORONTO – Jordan Schwartz is the latest creative decision-maker to help Rogers Media build a Canadian media empire under a single brand.
Schwartz, most recently head of rival CTV’s entertainment group, joins Rogers Media Television as vp of lifestyle and entertainment production.
Reporting to Jamie Haggarty, executive vp of TV operations at Rogers Media, Schwartz will manage Citytv’s Breakfast Television and CityLine talkers and strengthen in-house entertainment and lifestyle brands across all Rogers TV assets, which includes five Citytv stations, five OMNI Television stations, the Rogers Sportsnet cable sports channel and the Shopping Channel.
Before joining CTV, Schwartz help producer positions at ABC Daytime in Los Angeles and NBC News in New York City.
