The CW to Broadcast Critics' Choice TV and Movie Awards

This marks the first time the television awards show will air in its entirety.

The Critics' Choice Television Awards will be broadcast in its entirety for the first time in 2014 on The CW.

Meanwhile, the Critics' Choice Movie Awards will return to the network for the second straight year, it was announced Monday by Joey Berlin, president of Broadcast Film Critics Association (BFCA) and Broadcast Television Critics Association (BTCA), and John Maataa, executive vp at The CW.

The Critics' Choice Movie Awards is scheduled to air Jan. 16, 2014. Nominees will be announced Dec. 16.

The Critics' Choice Television Awards, which will be broadcast in full, will take place in June 2014.

Locations for both events will be announced at a later date.

Last year's CW telecast of the Critics' Choice Movie Awards averaged 1.9 million viewers and a 0.6 rating among adults 18-49. The Critics' Choice Television Awards was established in 2011.
