Dana Brunetti's Jameson First Shot Competition Announces Winners
The winners come from England, Australia and Canada.
Dana Brunetti has announced the winners of his Jameson First Shot competition.
Ollie Wolf from London, England; Alice Cogin from Sydney, Australia; and Jason Manella from Ontario, Canada, will all be flown to L.A. to shoot their original short ideas, each 15 minutes, with a full Hollywood crew. The three short films will premiere at a November gala.
Dominic West (Money Monster, 300) will star in each of the shorts, which he and Brunetti chose from thousands of entries from around the world.
"I've been involved in Jameson First Shot since the beginning and I'm always amazed at the quality of the scripts that we have the opportunity to read," said Brunetti. "I've been proud of every one of the 15 films that we've made, and I can't wait to get started on the next three — the scripts from Ollie, Alice and Jason are incredible."
Added West: "I think that the people that have been involved in Jameson First Shot speaks volumes for how necessary a platform like this is. Each of their stories are going to challenge me, as they've created characters that are very different to any that I've played before."
