Hines Wards' professional partner suffers an accident in rehearsals Friday.

Kym Johnson, Hines Ward's professional partner on ABC's Dancing with the Stars, was hospitalized Friday in Los Angeles after suffering an accident in rehearsals.

In an email to USA Today, ABC Entertainment spokeswoman Amy Astley confirmed a TMZ report that Johnson "was taken to the hospital for precautionary measures.”

Astley insisted Johnson “is OK.”

Dancing pro Mark Ballas also told TMZ late Friday that she's "gonna be okay."

No word on whether her injury will affect whether she performs on the show Monday. Johnson and Ward, a Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver, are among the four remaining pairs.

She is the latest dancer to be injured.

Last week, contestant Ralph Macchio suffered a ruptured cyst behind his right knee, forcing him to stumble through his waltz and cha cha numbers.
